Moon Celebrations

The Lunar calendar is useful for planning one off events, but not for planning repetitive events. A calendar tied into the moon's phases does not coincide with the seasonal cycle of the natural world. You need something that synchronises with the vegetative cycle, and that is the solar cycle, because it is the sun's cycles that govern seasonal vegetative growth, death and change. The moon will give guidance when to plant, when to harvest etc. but the times are movable, not fixed to the same annual date. Celebrations

The sun symbolizes your conscious self, while the moon represents your emotions and hidden self.

The moon rises and sets every day, the time depending on the phase of the moon. New moon rises at about the same time the sun rises, and it sets at about the same time the sun sets. Full moon rises about the same time the sun sets, and the moon sets at about the same time the sun rises.

The Moon enters into the next zodiac sign approximately every two to three days. It is not uncommon for the Moon to enter all twelve signs within the month.

Molly Rice shares some of her Full Moon portal drawings from 2017 - 19

When you look up at the Moon do not forget to notice the stars.

As we hunker down into our winter hibernation and spend more time in our nests it seems appropriate that Bernadette Mac has drawn this card today ( 21st November 2019) - thanks for sharing B.

Existence

Now is the time to look at whether you are allowing yourself to receive the extraordinary gift of feeling at home wherever you are.

Take time to savour it so it can deepen and remain with you.

On the other hand if you feel that the world is out to get you it's time to take a break.

Go outside tonight and look at the stars.

Even if you can't see them know deep within that they are there.

Blessings, BernadetteMac
